Ball Python

Pastel Double het Ghost male - 98 grams

Yes, these are actually double hets for two different ghost lines. I did not intend to make these, I wanted to make pastel ghosts but the ball python gods were frowning on me that day. What happened was I bred a pastel ghost male to one of my ghost females. Normally that would mean all the babies would be ghosts and all the pastels would have been pastel ghosts. What I got was 5 pastels, 2 normals and no ghosts!!! So unknowingly I bred two incompatible lines of ghosts. After the initial shock and disappointment had worn off I realized that I might have something very interesting here.

Obviously these two ghost lines have different genes targeting the amount of melanin, (dark pigment) in the skin. So, my thinking is that if these were bred together you would produce babies from both lines of ghost and when the two genes combine in one snake, you would have a "super ghost"! Maybe I'm just trying to find the "silver lining around the cloud" but I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work that way. Anyway, I'm keeping 1.2 pastels for myself and selling off this pair of pastels and the DH females shown below.

There is no point in selling these individually and they need to go as a group, so the pastel male, pastel female and the 2 het females are....

1.3 group - $2000
