Clutch No. 01

Clutch Size: 11 eggs

Hatch Date: Feb 15, 2013

Description

This is a clutch from an Albino female bred to a Kingpin male. These babies are all 100% het albino and consisted of two normals, two pins, six lessers and one Kingpin. Nothing super exciting here but the lesser in the lower left hand corner has some weird shading on her head and small light colored patches on her body, kind of a little mini paradox thing going on.

Clutch No. 02

Clutch Size: 4 eggs

Hatch Date: March 13, 2013

Description

This is a clutch from a Fire female which I had bred several different males to. Late last year when she had good sized follicles none of the males I wanted to breed to her actually did any breeding, very frustrating! One of the males I did try as a last resort was a Leucistic and it appears he is the father. Not my first choice for sure but it turned out OK. Looks like 2 Fire/Lesser females, a Lesser and a Fire/Mojave male.

Clutch No. 03

Clutch Size: 7 eggs

Hatch Date: April 30, 2013

Description

This clutch is from a Fire bee to a normal female. Looks like I got two Fire/Spiders, 1 spider, Bumblebee, Firefly, Fire and a normal.

Clutch No. 04

Clutch Size: 6 eggs

Hatch Date: May 1, 2013

Description

My first Banana clutch, Yahoo! This was a normal female I bred the Vanilla Cream to and then about a month later the Banana male. Lucky for me, Banana boy turned out to be the dad, both Banana babies are males. The rest of the normals are an even mix of males and females. Not sure what that means yet but I'll find out more when the other Banana clutches hatch.

Clutch No. 05

Clutch Size: 8 eggs

Hatch Date: May 18, 2013

Description

OK, this is from a Yellow-belly female that was bred to a FireBee and a Lucy, first clutch of the year with two fathers. From the Lucy I got: 2 lessers and 1 Mojave.

From the FireBee looks like I got: 1 FireBee Yellow-belly, 1 FireFly Yellow-belly. Those two are pretty cool! Also a yellow-belly Fire, 1 yellow-belly and 1 spider. Not bad!

Clutch No. 06

Clutch Size: 8 eggs

Hatch Date: May 28, 2013

Description

This clutch is from a normal female that was bred to a FireBee male. Also the first clutch of the year that had twins! Lucky for me they are both Fire bees.

Anyway what I got: 1 Normal, 3 FireBees, 2 BumbleBees, 1 FireFly, 2 Pastels.

Clutch No. 07

Clutch Size: 8 eggs

Hatch Date: May 29, 2013

Description

This clutch was from what I initially thought was a het Pied female bred to a Pied male but no Pieds were produced. I have since figured out what happened. About 2 or 3 years ago a certain employee of mine who shall remain nameless (Jazzmine) mixed up a few het pied and het albino females. I thought I had it all sorted out but apparently not. So these babies are all 100% het pied and 50% possible het albino, what are you gonna do...

Clutch No. 08

Clutch Size: 9 eggs

Hatch Date: June 2, 2013

Description

Butter bee to normal resulting in 3 normals, 4 Spiders, 1 butter and 1 Butter Bee. Pretty crappy odds on the Butter front but oh well...

Clutch No. 09

Clutch Size: 7 eggs

Hatch Date: June 3, 2013

Description

Banana clutch #2, again this was the Banana bred to a normal female, I was super happy to get a couple more Bananas but disappointed with the odds for sure. Both Banana's are males and the normals are all females, Hmmm...maybe there's something to this gene related sex thing...

Clutch No. 10

Clutch Size: 7 eggs

Hatch Date: June 7, 2013

Description

Albino male to het albino female, resulting in 3 albinos and 4 100% hets.

Clutch No. 11

Clutch Size: 9 eggs

Hatch Date: June 11, 2013

Description

This clutch is from my Fire/Ghost male bred to a het Ghost female. I got one Fire/Ghost, (pictures really don't do them justice), 3 Ghosts, 4 100% het Ghost Fires and 1 normal het Ghost.

Clutch No. 13

Clutch Size: 7 eggs

Hatch Date: June 27, 2013

Description

This was from a Super Blast male bred to a nice banded girl. Only two Lemon Blasts, the pastels are really nice though, some of the best looking pastels I've hatched out in a while. I think that has something to do with the banded female.

Clutch No. 14

Clutch Size: 6 eggs

Hatch Date: June 28, 2013

Description

Pastel Enchi male bred to a normal female. Missed on the Pastel Enchi in this clutch but that's OK, I have lots more of these clutches coming. Got 2 Enchis, 1 Pastel and 3 normals.

Clutch No. 15

Clutch Size: 9 eggs

Hatch Date: June 29, 2013

Description

Pied to Het Pied, I think this ranks right up there as one of my WORST clutches ever! This was from one of my proven het Pied females that I've gotten Pieds from before. Half these babies should have been Pieds! Nine eggs and I got NO pieds, unbelievable! Even the one I thought was a Pied when I saw it in the egg turned out to be a Ringer, interesting but very frustrating.

Clutch No. 16

Clutch Size: 6 eggs

Hatch Date: July 6, 2013

Description

Enchi Champagne male bred to a Normal female, this sort of makes up for the last clutch. I got 2 Enchi Champagnes, 1 Champagne, 1 Enchi and 2 normals. The Enchi Champagne at the top right hand corner is spectacular! I haven't seen that many of these but he's one of the nicest for sure !

Hatch Date: July 14, 2013

Description

This clutch is from a Butter Bee male bred to an Albino female. I got 2 Butter Bees, 1 Spider and 4 normals, all are 100% het albino.

Clutch No. 20

Clutch Size: 9 eggs

Hatch Date: July 15, 2013

Description

Second clutch of the year to have two fathers. This was a Pastel female bred to a Pastel Enchi and a Lucy. From the Lucy I got 2 Lessers. From the Pastel Enchi I got 3 Pastel Enchis, 1 Enchi, 1 Super Pastel and also 2 Pastels. This clutch was a complete surprise, I bred this female early in the year when none of my males were really interested in breeding. I had put the Pastel Enchi in with her and never saw anything happen, I didn't even write it down on her record card. The only male that wanted to breed her was the Lucy, he bred her twice so I was assuming this was going to be a Lesser/Mojave clutch, I was shocked to see all the Enchis!! But it worked out great!

Clutch No. 21

Clutch No. 24

Clutch Size: 8 eggs

Hatch Date: July 24, 2013

Description

Well, at first I wasn't really sure what I had in here... This was a Pastel female bred to several different males but I have since figured it out. One father was the Vanilla Cream. The other a FireFly. From the Vanilla Cream I got 2 Pastel Vanillas, (those are the 2 nice ones on the left, top and bottom). From the FireFly I got the 2 Super Pastels, (center). The other 4 babies are Fires and Vanillas, I'll have to wait until they shed to figure out which is which.

Clutch No. 25

Clutch Size: 9 eggs

Hatch Date: July 25, 2013

So this was a Pastel female bred by my sadly departed SugarBee male. Looks like: 1 KillerBee Sugar, 1 KillerBee, 2 BumbleBees, 1 Sugar Spider, 1 Spider, 1 pastel, 1 Normal. Oh ya, there's also ButterBee in there too, not sure how that happened... must have put the ButterBee in there at some point.

Clutch No. 29

Clutch Size: 6 eggs

Hatch Date: Aug 3, 2013

Description

Banana Clutch #4, this time he bred a pastel female, unfortunately 3 eggs went bad... ARRRG!! One baby was deformed and dead in the egg... Awe. However I did get one Pastel Banana, WOHOO! I also got super pastel female, WHAT! How is this possible you may ask??? Well it's not possible, he was the only male I bred to her this year. So it was kind of a head scratcher... then I check her record card and saw I bred a FireFly male to her last year. She laid 6 good eggs in 2012 and I hatched some nice babies from her. The only explanation for the super pastel produced in this 2013 clutch is retained sperm from over a year ago!!! That also explains the poor results in this clutch, the Banana male only fertilized one egg, the rest were from the Firefly from about 14/15 months ago... Unbelievable!

Clutch No. 30

Clutch No. 36

Clutch Size: 7 eggs

Hatch Date: Sept 16, 2013

Description

This was a Pastel Enchi male bred to a Lesser female. This is the second clutch of the year to contain "twins", the Lesser and Enchi at the bottom left were both in the same egg. Kind of lame ass odds in this clutch but I did get the Pastel Enchi Lesser male I was hoping for so it's all good.

This is my first Orange Dream clutch!! It's from my Orange Dream/Yellowbelly male bred to a Fire female. OK, even though it doesn't really look like it here I got 1 Orange dream, 2 Fires, (I will have to wait until they shed to be sure). 1 Yellowbelly and 1 normal. I was really hoping for a combo but...this is alright.

UPDATE Dec.9: OK, now that these have shed out and fed a couple of times I can tell what I actually have. Turns out there was: 1 Orange Dream Fire, 1 Orange dream Yellowbelly, 1 Orange Dream, 1 Yellowbelly and 1 normal. Much better than I first thought!!

Clutch No. 50

Clutch Size: 1 egg

Description

This is a BumbleBee female that I bred the Orange Dream to. I kind of figured this clutch was going to be crap judging by the ultrasound and I was right! She basically slugged out, I did get one good egg and unfortunately all I got was this spider...sometimes it's like pulling teeth!

Clutch No. 51

Clutch Size: 3 eggs

Hatch Date: Nov 19, 2013

This was a het Ghost female that I bred the Ghost Fire male to. Another disappointing clutch, looks like two normal het Ghosts, although the one on the right is unusual looking in person, could be a Fire but I'll have to wait until it sheds out.

Orange Dream Yellowbelly to Pastel female. Looks like 2 Orange dreams, 2 pastels, 2 Normals and 1 that I'm not sure about. Again I have to wait for these to shed to see what's really going on.

Description

Pastel Phantom to normal female. 2 pastel Phantoms, 1 Phantom, 2 Pastels, 3 normals.

Clutch No. 57

Clutch Size: 8 eggs

Hatch Date: Dec 17, 2013

Description

This is my Dreamsicle Clutch, I've been working on the project for 4 years and it finally paid off!! I got a male Dream, super happy about that! A male Lavender, 4 "normals", 3 of which are females and 2 Axanthic females. These were a complete surprise but I have figured out what happened...

Back in 2005 I purchased a Pied male from Mark Mandic. As most of you probably know he had the Axanthic gene floating around in his pied project. Although I don't think he knew it at the time. I'm not sure of the time line but he later hatched out an Axanthic Pied. Anyway, the pied male I bought obviously was a het Axanthic and that's the male I used to breed to my lavender female to make the DH dreams. Even though these would technically only have been 50% possible het Axanthic they both inherited the Axanthic gene. So my DH's are actually Triple het for Axanthic, Lavender and Pied...Pretty cool... and a very unlikely chain of events to have led to this outcome. The ball python gods were in my corner with this project for sure!

Clutch No. 58
